   My first Tory Burch experience was this one, Tory Burch (2013). The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Tory Burch after reading the community buzz (2013). The drydown leans on White Musk plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A couple of wears in, Tory Burch has really grown on me. The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Tory Burch. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A decant of Tory Burch sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I picked up Tory Burch (2013) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Peony with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on White Musk and Vetiver — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The drydown leans on White Musk plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Give it a little time and Peony with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
