   My first Commodity experience was this one, Moss (2013). Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Petitgrain, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Cedar and White Musk come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Moss, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Petitgrain, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Petitgrain — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Moss (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Cedar and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Petitgrain, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I wanted to like it more than I did.
