   A decant of So Real Cheap & Chic sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Musk and Ambroxan come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Musk and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I keep reaching for So Real Cheap & Chic more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Bitter Orange/Tangerine impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Musk and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The opening is built around Bitter Orange and Tangerine — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The very first sniff is crisp Bitter Orange with Tangerine peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

As it settles, Musk and Ambroxan come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I wanted to like it more than I did.
