   Picked up a sample of Levant after reading the community buzz (2020). Give it a little time and Orange Blossom with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I’ve been wearing Levant on and off for a few weeks now (2020). That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Tangelo impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Tangelo, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A couple of wears in, Levant has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Musk plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orange Blossom with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Picked up a sample of Levant after reading the community buzz (2020). Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Tangelo, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Orange Blossom with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A decant of Levant sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Tangelo peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Orange Blossom with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

   My first Ormonde Jayne experience was this one, Levant (2020). The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Peony feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Tangelo — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
