   A couple of wears in, This is Not GABA has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin with Passionfruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Freesia feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about This is Not GABA. As it settles, Amber and Moss come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Mandarin with a hint of Passionfruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about This is Not GABA. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Freesia comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
