   For a 2012 release, Natural deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Bitter Orange and Yuzu — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Vetiver and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. The composition is well made but not for me.

   A friend passed me a decant of Natural (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Incense and Pepper feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Incense with Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Loewe experience was this one, Natural (2012). Right away I get mostly Bitter Orange alongside Yuzu, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Incense with Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

The base rests on Vetiver and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.
