   A decant of Vanilla Haze sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Almond with Hazelnut peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla Pod with Tonka Bean, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Vanilla Haze, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla Pod and Tonka Bean feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Vanilla Pod with Tonka Bean comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Fugazzi knows how to compose, and Vanilla Haze (2024) is proof. As it settles, Caramel and Musk come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Caramel plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Vanilla Haze. Give it a little time and Vanilla Pod with Tonka Bean comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Caramel and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.
