   Everyone keeps talking about Delphinus, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Bourbon Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Almond/Incense impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Picked up a sample of Delphinus after reading the community buzz (2024). The heart is the best part for me: Orris and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Orris with Heliotrope comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Delphinus for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Almond and Incense — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: Orris and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing Delphinus on and off for a few weeks now (2024). Right away I get mostly Almond alongside Incense, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Bourbon Vanilla and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

As it settles, Bourbon Vanilla and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

That first spray gives a lovely Almond/Incense impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.
