   A friend passed me a decant of Ambassador Intense (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Tonka Bean and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of Ambassador Intense sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Raspberry with Caramel comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Ambassador Intense for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Licorice and Guatemalan Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Licorice/Guatemalan Cardamom impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The first minutes are all about Licorice with a hint of Guatemalan Cardamom — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.
