   A friend passed me a decant of Ani X (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Vanilla and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Ani X has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I keep reaching for Ani X more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   My first Nishane experience was this one, Ani X (2023). The heart is the best part for me: Green Apple and Black Currant feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Green Apple with Black Currant comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Green Apple with Black Currant, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
