   Everyone keeps talking about Paradoxe, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Neroli Essence feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Tangerine impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I have owned Paradoxe for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The base rests on Bourbon Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Pear with Tangerine peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Paradoxe (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Pear and Tangerine — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Tangerine, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
