   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Downtown. The base rests on Musk and Texas Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Musk and Texas Cedar come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Downtown (2013) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Musk and Texas Cedar come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Plum impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The base rests on Musk and Texas Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The drydown leans on Musk plus Texas Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
