   I have owned Far Away Exotic for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Mango alongside Spices, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Far Away Exotic, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Coconut with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Coconut with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Far Away Exotic (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Coconut with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 2012 release, Far Away Exotic deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Far Away Exotic more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Coconut with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Mango and Spices — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A friend passed me a decant of Far Away Exotic (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Sandalwood and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.
