   My first Ghost experience was this one, Ghost (2000). The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Ghost on and off for a few weeks now (2000). The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Ghost knows how to compose, and Ghost (2000) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Peach feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

That first spray gives a lovely Rose/Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The very first sniff is crisp Rose with Jasmine peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Give it a little time and Vanilla with Peach comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I wanted to like it more than I did.

I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
