   For a 1999 release, Hiris deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Almond Tree and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Cedar and Almond Tree come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 1999 release, Hiris deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Iris and Coriander — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Iris with a hint of Coriander — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

As it settles, Cedar and Almond Tree come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
