   My first Dior experience was this one, Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle (2010). The heart is the best part for me: Orchid and Tuberose feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Orange Blossom with Ylang-Ylang peeking through, very much my kind of start. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Orchid with Tuberose comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I have owned Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Orange Blossom/Ylang-Ylang impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orchid with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle on and off for a few weeks now (2010). The first minutes are all about Orange Blossom with a hint of Ylang-Ylang — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Vanilla and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.

Right away I get mostly Orange Blossom alongside Ylang-Ylang, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I would happily buy a full bottle.
