   I picked up J’adore L’Eau (2009) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Magnolia with Neroli comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Magnolia with Neroli, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about J’adore L’Eau, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Magnolia with Neroli, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Magnolia and Neroli feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
