   For a 2006 release, Live Luxe deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Melon alongside Peach, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Musk and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Everyone keeps talking about Live Luxe, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pink Freesia with Honeysuckle, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Pink Freesia and Honeysuckle feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Jennifer Lopez knows how to compose, and Live Luxe (2006) is proof. The first minutes are all about Melon with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pink Freesia with Honeysuckle, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
