   A decant of Mod Vanilla sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Praline and Orris Root feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Musk with a hint of Plum — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I’ve been wearing Mod Vanilla on and off for a few weeks now (2022). The very first sniff is crisp Musk with Plum peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Praline with Orris Root, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Ariana Grande knows how to compose, and Mod Vanilla (2022) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Praline with Orris Root, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Cacao Butter and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.
