   I have owned Nina L’Elixir for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Musk and Amber come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Musk plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2010 release, Nina L’Elixir deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Red Berries and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Musk plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I keep reaching for Nina L’Elixir more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Red Berries and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Amalfi Lemon with a hint of Caipirinha — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The first minutes are all about Amalfi Lemon with a hint of Caipirinha — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Musk and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

That first spray gives a lovely Amalfi Lemon/Caipirinha impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
