   Picked up a sample of Ombre Indigo after reading the community buzz (2014). The first minutes are all about Plum with a hint of Saffron — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Benzoin plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Picked up a sample of Ombre Indigo after reading the community buzz (2014). The base rests on Benzoin and Ambergris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Plum/Saffron impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Ombre Indigo. The very first sniff is crisp Plum with Saffron peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Plum with a hint of Saffron — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A decant of Ombre Indigo sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Benzoin plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Plum and Saffron — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I picked up Ombre Indigo (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Plum with Saffron peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Plum alongside Saffron, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The drydown leans on Benzoin plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
