   Bvlgari knows how to compose, and Rose Goldea (2016) is proof. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Damask Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Bvlgari experience was this one, Rose Goldea (2016). The very first sniff is crisp Rose with Musk peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Rose/Musk impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The opening is built around Rose and Musk — bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
