   Picked up a sample of Starlight after reading the community buzz (2019). The base rests on Amber and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Amber plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   XerJoff knows how to compose, and Starlight (2019) is proof. Right away I get mostly Cardamom alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Cardamom with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   My first XerJoff experience was this one, Starlight (2019). That first spray gives a lovely Cardamom/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
