   For a 2016 release, Super Cedar deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Haitian Vetiver and Musk come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Virginian Cedar feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Super Cedar on and off for a few weeks now (2016). That first spray gives a lovely Rose impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Haitian Vetiver plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A friend passed me a decant of Super Cedar (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Rose, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Rose — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Super Cedar for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Virginian Cedar comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Rose impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
