   I have owned Rem for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Sea water with a hint of Lilac — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Sea water with Lilac peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 1996 release, Rem deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Fenugreek with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Fenugreek and Patchouli feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   My first Reminiscence experience was this one, Rem (1996). The drydown leans on Musk plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Fenugreek with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
