   A decant of Higher Energy sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Pepper and Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I keep reaching for Higher Energy more than I expected to. The opening is built around Juniper Berries and Pineapple — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Pepper with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I have owned Higher Energy for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Pepper with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.

Right away I get mostly Juniper Berries alongside Pineapple, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The drydown leans on Cedar plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.

The very first sniff is crisp Juniper Berries with Pineapple peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
