   My first Calvin Klein experience was this one, Eternity (1988). Give it a little time and Carnation with Lily comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Freesia impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

The opening is built around Green Notes and Freesia — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A friend passed me a decant of Eternity (1988) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Green Notes with a hint of Freesia — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Musk and Heliotrope — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
