   A friend passed me a decant of Wish (1997) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honey with Milk, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Honey and Milk feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   My first Chopard experience was this one, Wish (1997). Give it a little time and Honey with Milk comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Honey and Milk feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A decant of Wish sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Coconut/Strawberry impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Coconut alongside Strawberry, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of Wish sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Caramel plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Coconut and Strawberry — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

That first spray gives a lovely Coconut/Strawberry impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I have owned Wish for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Coconut alongside Strawberry, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Coconut with a hint of Strawberry — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
