   I keep reaching for Armani more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Galbanum with Marigold peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Narcissus with Orris Root comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Armani has really grown on me. The heart is the best part for me: Narcissus and Orris Root feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Galbanum alongside Marigold, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I picked up Armani (1981) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Oakmoss and Benzoin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Oakmoss and Benzoin come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Armani more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Galbanum with a hint of Marigold — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Galbanum/Marigold impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Everyone keeps talking about Armani, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Narcissus with Orris Root, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Narcissus and Orris Root feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Picked up a sample of Armani after reading the community buzz (1981). The first minutes are all about Galbanum with a hint of Marigold — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Galbanum and Marigold — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
