   A friend passed me a decant of Tous (2002) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on White Musk and Iris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, White Musk and Iris come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A decant of Tous sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Gardenia and Peony feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Violet Leaf/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Tous. As it settles, White Musk and Iris come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Tous has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Gardenia with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on White Musk and Iris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
