Estée Lauder knows how to compose, and Sensuous (2008) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Lily/Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Woodsy Notes with Amber, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Picked up a sample of Sensuous after reading the community buzz (2008). As it settles, Sandalwood and White Honey come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Woodsy Notes with Amber, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

I keep reaching for Sensuous more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Lily alongside Jasmine, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Woodsy Notes with Amber, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

I’ve been wearing Sensuous on and off for a few weeks now (2008). The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus White Honey and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Lily with Jasmine peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

I’ve been wearing Sensuous on and off for a few weeks now (2008). The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes and Amber feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Lily and Jasmine — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Everyone keeps talking about Sensuous, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Sandalwood and White Honey come through and give it real depth. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

I have owned Sensuous for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Lily with a hint of Jasmine — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Lily and Jasmine — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

A decant of Sensuous sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes and Amber feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Lily alongside Jasmine, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

A friend passed me a decant of Sensuous (2008) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus White Honey and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Woodsy Notes with Amber comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Estée Lauder knows how to compose, and Sensuous (2008) is proof. As it settles, Sandalwood and White Honey come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Lily and Jasmine — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
