   I keep reaching for Reaction more than I expected to. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Melon alongside Watermelon, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Reaction (2004) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Reaction (2004) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Lily-of-the-Valley and Patchouli feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Melon and Watermelon — bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I’ve been wearing Reaction on and off for a few weeks now (2004). The very first sniff is crisp Melon with Watermelon peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The very first sniff is crisp Melon with Watermelon peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   My first Kenneth Cole experience was this one, Reaction (2004). The opening is built around Melon and Watermelon — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
