   A friend passed me a decant of 3 AM (2015) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. As it settles, Tonic water and Leather come through and give it real depth. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about 3 AM, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Tonic water and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing 3 AM on and off for a few weeks now (2015). That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A decant of 3 AM sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Tonic water and Leather come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Fig Leaf with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. The composition is well made but not for me.
