   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Cabochard Eau de Parfum 2019. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ylang-Ylang with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Ylang-Ylang with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A decant of Cabochard Eau de Parfum 2019 sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Galbanum alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Oakmoss and Leather come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Picked up a sample of Cabochard Eau de Parfum 2019 after reading the community buzz (2019). The heart is the best part for me: Ylang-Ylang and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Oakmoss and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A friend passed me a decant of Cabochard Eau de Parfum 2019 (2019) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Galbanum alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The first minutes are all about Galbanum with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Galbanum and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
