   A couple of wears in, Milk Orchid has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Milk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla Orchid with Magnolia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Milk Orchid, so I finally gave it a proper test. That first spray gives a lovely Coconut/Fig milk impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Milk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The very first sniff is crisp Coconut with Fig milk peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. The composition is well made but not for me.

The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla Orchid and Magnolia feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

I wanted to like it more than I did.
