   For a 2003 release, Cabotine Rose deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Cherry Blossom with Pear peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Cabotine Rose for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Cherry Blossom alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Peony feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Cabotine Rose, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Cherry Blossom with a hint of Pear — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Cherry Blossom alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

   For a 2003 release, Cabotine Rose deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Cherry Blossom/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
