   A couple of wears in, Dalistyle has really grown on me. As it settles, Pear and Musk come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Freesia with Gardenia, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Salvador Dali knows how to compose, and Dalistyle (2002) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Freesia and Gardenia feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Pear and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
