   Everyone keeps talking about Salt, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Ylang-Ylang with a hint of Violet Leaves — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Ylang-Ylang/Violet Leaves impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A couple of wears in, Salt has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Ylang-Ylang with a hint of Violet Leaves — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Tiare Flower with Magnolia comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A decant of Salt sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Ylang-Ylang alongside Violet Leaves, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tiare Flower with Magnolia, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Right away I get mostly Ylang-Ylang alongside Violet Leaves, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

    I have owned Salt for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Ylang-Ylang and Violet Leaves — bright and immediately recognizable. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
