   My first Rochas experience was this one, Femme Rochas (1944). As it settles, Oakmoss and Leather come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A decant of Femme Rochas sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cloves with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I keep reaching for Femme Rochas more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Plum alongside Peach, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Plum and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Femme Rochas (1944) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Plum with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The very first sniff is crisp Plum with Peach peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
