   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about 24 Gold. The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Agarwood (Oud)/Guaiac Wood impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing 24 Gold on and off for a few weeks now (2010). The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Sandalwood with Cedar comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2010 release, 24 Gold deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Cedar, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Right away I get mostly Agarwood (Oud) alongside Guaiac Wood, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
