   A couple of wears in, 4711 Original Eau de Cologne has really grown on me. As it settles, Neroli and Petitgrain come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing 4711 Original Eau de Cologne on and off for a few weeks now (1792). That first spray gives a lovely Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Neroli plus Petitgrain and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first 4711 experience was this one, 4711 Original Eau de Cologne (1792). Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The base rests on Neroli and Petitgrain — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   4711 knows how to compose, and 4711 Original Eau de Cologne (1792) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rosemary with Lavender, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The drydown leans on Neroli plus Petitgrain and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
