   A couple of wears in, Evening Rose has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Bulgarian Rose with Rose de Mai comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Bulgarian Rose and Rose de Mai feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Evening Rose. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bulgarian Rose with Rose de Mai, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Bulgarian Rose and Rose de Mai feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bulgarian Rose with Rose de Mai, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The composition is well made but not for me.

This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
