   A couple of wears in, Tangier Vanille has really grown on me. As it settles, Sandalwood and Musk come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Vanilla and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Tangier Vanille, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Vanilla alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A friend passed me a decant of Tangier Vanille (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Vanilla with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Vanilla/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A friend passed me a decant of Tangier Vanille (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Vanilla/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Amber, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A friend passed me a decant of Tangier Vanille (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Amber comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Vanilla with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Vanilla and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
