   I keep reaching for Amber Oud Ruby Edition more than I expected to. The base rests on Ambergris and Woody Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Saffron alongside Bitter Almond, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Al Haramain Perfumes knows how to compose, and Amber Oud Ruby Edition (2022) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cedar with Egyptian Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Ambergris and Woody Notes come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing Amber Oud Ruby Edition on and off for a few weeks now (2022). The first minutes are all about Saffron with a hint of Bitter Almond — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Saffron/Bitter Almond impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
