   Picked up a sample of Ashore after reading the community buzz (2020). The drydown leans on Ambergris plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Cardamom with a hint of Turmeric — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A couple of wears in, Ashore has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Ambergris plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Cardamom alongside Turmeric, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Ashore for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Ambergris plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine Sambac with Solar Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2020 release, Ashore deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Cardamom and Turmeric — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine Sambac with Solar Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of Ashore sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine Sambac with Solar Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine Sambac and Solar Notes feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine Sambac with Solar Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
