   Everyone keeps talking about Guidance, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Hazelnut, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Sandalwood and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   A friend passed me a decant of Guidance (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Hazelnut, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I have owned Guidance for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Sandalwood and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Hazelnut, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
