   I have owned Interlude Man for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Oregano with a hint of Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Oregano alongside Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The heart is the best part for me: Incense and Opoponax feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

As it settles, Agarwood (Oud) and Leather come through and give it real depth. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Interlude Man (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Oregano/Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
