   I have owned Myths Man for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Chrysanthemum with a hint of Orris — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: elemi and Rum feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Myths Man, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Ash and Leather come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Ash plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Myths Man. Right away I get mostly Chrysanthemum alongside Orris, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Chrysanthemum with a hint of Orris — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. The composition is well made but not for me.

Give it a little time and elemi with Rum comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

That first spray gives a lovely Chrysanthemum/Orris impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent.     My first Amouage experience was this one, Myths Man (2016). Give it a little time and elemi with Rum comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Chrysanthemum with Orris peeking through, very much my kind of start. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
