   I picked up The Library Collection Opus V (2011) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Orris Root/Rum impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Orris Root alongside Rum, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I have owned The Library Collection Opus V for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Orris Root and Rum — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned The Library Collection Opus V for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Rose feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
