   Picked up a sample of Aramis Devin after reading the community buzz (1977). The first minutes are all about Galbanum with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Leather plus Oakmoss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Aramis Devin after reading the community buzz (1977). The drydown leans on Leather plus Oakmoss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Galbanum and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Aramis Devin. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pine Tree Needles with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Leather plus Oakmoss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   My first Aramis experience was this one, Aramis Devin (1977). The very first sniff is crisp Galbanum with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pine Tree Needles with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Galbanum and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
